Eschatology Episode 7: The Long Wait

Jesus left his disciples with the expectation that he was going to return pretty soon. We take a quick look at Christian eschatology since his departure and realise that it has been a long wait! We see two processes at work: renewal and stasis. We consider the way these seasons affect the attitudes and culture within the church at the time.
